'Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya' is an upcoming movie highlighting the lifestyle and issues faced by handicrafts artisans. Directed by Vijay Kumar Badugu, it stasr Anand Raj and Shravani Shetty as the lead pair. Produced by Tadaka Ramesh of Vimal Creations, the film is presented by Guna Entertainments.
Its First Look was recently released by director N Shankar. Done with its shoot, it is heading for a release in theatres on October 29. Today, Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao unveiled the movie's trailer.
Speaking on the occasion, a film like this one must be supported by one and all. To be released in the US in eight centres, the film comes with a relevant subject, the co-producer added.
Producer T Ramesh said, "We thank Rudhika Madam for releasing our movie worldwide. We also thank KTR garu for supporting us today."
Director Vijay Kumar said, "The film was shot in and around Pochampalli. The post-production works are almost over. Our film shows the state of handicrafts artisans in Sirisilla and Bhudas Pochampalli between 2001 and 2014."
Anand Raj said, "I thank Guna Entertainments for coming forward to release our movie."
Actress Shravani Shetty said, "The portrayal of the weavers is very true to life in our movie."
