Megastar Chiranjeevi was at the pre-release event of 'Love Story' on Sunday. What he said in his speech has made it clear that the theatrical release of 'Acharya' is very uncertain for now.
In his speech, the 'Godfather' actor attributed the difficulties faced by big-ticket films to the unfavourable environment in terms of the issues being faced due to government policy in Andhra Pradesh. He indirectly referred to the low ticket prices. "We have wrapped up 'Acharya', but we are not ready to release it in theatres due to the prevailing situation," he added.
The speech has come to worry Chiru's fans, who have been waiting for 'Acharya' to head to the theatres. Chiru, urging the governments of AP and Telangana, said that lakhs of people depend on a healthy film industry, either directly or indirectly.
