Love Story team enjoys success of their movie

With 'Love Story' collecting a worldwide share of Rs 8.5 Cr on Friday (Day 1), the makers are extremely happy.

Speaking about the success, director Sekhar Kammula said, "We had a lot of struggles during the making. Today, the audience have handed us this success. Words are not enough." The director talked about the awareness camps held in the past to talk about gender issues, which are integral to the film.

Naga Chaitanya said, "We were not sure if the audience will turn up at theatres in the pandemic situation. But the openings are great." The film, produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, is the biggest Indian movie in terms of Share post the second wave.

Sai Pallavi said, "A lot of industry people wished for the success of our movie. They made social media tweets as well. 'Love Story' is not just entertainment. There are relevant social issues that it talks about."

Producer P Ram Mohan Rao said, "We are very happy with the commercial success of our movie. This is the biggest opening in the second wave."

Producer Suniel Narang said, "We will be planning another movie in the 'Love Story' combination next year."
