Natural Star Nani's name came in for a mention when Pawan Kalyan spoke at the pre-release event of 'Republic'. The Power Star sympathized with Nani, who was targeted by the Telangana Theatres Association for allowing the sale of Tuck Jagadish to OTT bypassing theatres. "Industry people must talk with the government regarding their problems. What can Nani do?" Pawan asked.
On Sunday, the Ante Sundariniki star thanked the Bheemla Nayak actor and said that the genuine geievances of Tollywood need redress.
"Keeping aside the political differences between Pawan Kalyan sir and AP Government. The film industry issues addressed are genuine and needs immediate attention. Thank you Pawan Kalyan sir," the Shyam Singha Roy actor wrote. He added, "As a member of film fraternity I humbly request YS Jagan gaaru and concerned Ministers to look in to it before it gets too late for the cinema to revive."
Nani has smartly avoided taking a contentious position while thanking Pawan.
