'Jayamma Panchayathi' is heading to theatres on May 6. On Saturday, its trailer was released at the hands of Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
From the trailer, we learn that Suma Kanakala is playing a doting wife whose husband is not keeping well. His health has taken a beating and it is up to Jayamma to rise to the occasion. She locks horns with the village council. Her resolve is strong and something is stirring in the village. In parallel, a love track between a temple priest and a young girl plays out.
One must say that the vibes are authentic. The conversations and Suma's performance are natural.
Debutant filmmaker Vijay Kumar Kalivarapu has joined hands with producer Balaga Prakash of Vennela Creations. MM Keeravani is composing the music, while Anush Kumar is cranking the camera. With art work by Dhanu Andhluri, the film is edited by Ravi Teja Girijala.
