When 'Baahubali: The Beginning' was released, its female artists got due recognition. Ramya Krishna and Tamannaah Bhatia were mentioned widely in the post-mortem articles written by the national media. When 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' came out, Anushka Shetty got her due. 'Pushpa: The Rise' made even the Hindi audience get up and take note of Rashmika Mandanna.
But Srinidhi Shetty is not receiving any recognition despite the two 'KGF' movies becoming blockbusters. In the second part, director Prashanth Neel said before the movie's release, her character is quite important. But the way her character is ended has not gone down well with the average audience. Feminists might begin lashing out at the film for giving her a meek, passive role.
One can say that Neel has failed his heroine. Srinidhi has not got the kind of recognition that even Samantha Ruth Prabhu got for that special song in 'Pushpa'. Alas!
