It's known that 'Majili' fame Shiva Nirvana has zeroed in on Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu to play the lead roles in his upcoming movie. The buzz is that the untitled film will be launched in Hyderabad in a grand way on April 21. A few days later, the regular shoot of the romantic drama will commence.
As per early reports, the makers have planned an extensive schedule in Kashmir. A love story, the film's story unfolds against the backdrop of the army. Incidentally, Vijay is playing a soldier in his next film with Puri Jagannadh, 'Jana Gana Mana'. It's not known as yet whether he is playing a soldier in Nirvana's film as well.
Samantha, who is doing 'Shaakuntalam' and 'Yashoda' these days, is reportedly playing a Kashmiri woman in the movie. If true, the role will demand a great deal of homework from her.
Nirvana is wishing to make a strong comeback with this project after the failure of his direct-OTT release, 'Tuck Jagadish', last year.
