The announcement teasers of superstar movies down South are always about praising the actor. The superstar is hailed to the skies without fail. But there is a Bollywood actor who doesn't mind toning down his starry prestige if it can make us laugh a bit. He is Shah Rukh Khan.
On Tuesday, he announced a project titled 'Dunki'. The film is directed by the classy Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. In the announcement video, SRK does everything he can do to elevate the director while sounding desperate to work with him. The 'Raees' actor admires the PK character played by his rival, Aamir Khan. He admires the Sanju character played by his junior, Ranbir Kapoor. He also considers the 'Munnabhai' films special. And, finally, when Hirani says that he has a script for him, SRK feels grateful.
Can we ever imagine a Southern superstar behaving like this even for fun? Never!
'Dunki', by the way, is going to clash with Akshay Kumar's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' on December 22, 2023. Big clash it surely is!
