'Captain' is the title of an upcoming Telugu-dubbed Kollywood movie starring Arya as Captain Vijay Kumar. Starring Aishwarya Lekshmi of the recent 'Godse' fame in a key role, this Shakti Soundar Rajan directorial is going to be released in Telugu by Sreshth Movies, which is owned by Nithiin's father and senior distributor Sudhakar Reddy. The banner recently released the blockbuster 'Vikram' in Telugu.
'Captain' is slated to hit the cinemas on Sept 8.
The film's trailer was released today. We see the hero saying in the style of a strategic fighter that it's essential to study the enemy's weakness before hoodwinking him and then launching the final assault. The visuals are very good and the stunts seem to be a big plus.
S Yuva's cinematography, SS Moorthy's production design, and the stunts by the R Sakthi Saravanan-K Ganesh duo look like a big plus. The expensive film has music composed by D Imman.
Edited by Pradeep E Ragav, its costumes are by Deepali Noor. With VFX by NXgen and VFX Supervision by V Arun Raj, the film has got promising technical values.
