'Bhediya', the Hindi-language creature-comedy film, will be released in theatres in Telugu too on November 25. It's going to be a simultaneous pan-India release. Allu Aravind's Geetha Arts on Saturday promoted the movie with its lead pair, namely, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Varun Dhawan said, "I had to scream so much while shooting for physical transformation scenes (the hero morphs into a 'thodelu', as the title suggests). The director was particular that the screaming had to be very authentic and loud. My vocal cords pained at times. As for Kriti, she is a team player. We shot in various locations, including Arunachal Pradesh. She was there with us during the whole course of the journey. I am excited to be here in Hyderabad. I thank Geetha Arts for releasing our movie in Telugu. Their latest dubbed release 'Kantara' has done so well in Telugu."
Kriti Sanon said, "Varun is a big team player. His energy is infectious. Whoever works with him becomes his best friend. It's organic and comfortable to work with him. We discuss and try to make scenes the best version. I began my journey in Telugu. We have to work in all languages and reach out to all hearts. I really like the title 'Thodelu'. This is a completely different film from my previous films. 'Bhediya' is the first creature comedy made by Bollywood."
Allu Aravind said, "I loved Kriti's performance in 'Mimi', the recent film. Coming to 'Thodelu', we are surely going to score a hit at Geetha Arts. We are on a hat-trick, with the success of 'Kantara' and 'Urashivo Rakshasivo'. In December, we have another release ('18 Pages') coming up."
