Regina Cassandra's Damini suffers from the OCD problem and Nivetha Thomas' character Shalini is a compulsive foodie in 'Saakini Daakini'. The teaser of the film was released today.
A female-centric thriller-comedy, the film is about two trainees from the Police Academy cracking a crime syndicate's modus operandi. Since the film is the remake of a Korean drama, one hopes there are no cliches in the script.
Director Sudheer Varma's treatment hasn't dumbed down the subject, it would seem from the teaser.
Mikey McCleary and Naresh Kumaran have done the music (with the latter taking care of BGM), while Gandhi Nadikudikar is its art director. Edited by Viplav Nyshadam, the film's cinematography is handled by Richard Prasad.
Produced by Suresh Productions, Guru Films and Kross Pictures Film, the film will head to theatres on September 16.
