Releasing the trailer of 'The Ghost', the makers used terms like 'high-octane' and 'explosive extravaganza', obviously referring to the film's big-scale stunts. And the contents of the trailer live up to the expectations.
Akkineni Nagarjuna's Agent Vikram takes up the responsibility of protecting his sister (Gul Panag) and niece (Anikha Surendran) from a cabal of gangsters after he gives a word to his now-dead father. Sonal Chauhan as an Interpol officer gets a sexy intro.
Besides the emotional beats, Brahma Kadali's art direction, Mukesh G's cinematography and Mark K Robin's background score seem to make this film several notches better than regular action flicks. Bharath and Saurabh have done the songs.
Helmed by Praveen Sattaru, the film is heading to theatres on October 5, confirmed Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment.
