'Karthikeya 2' has grossed a whopping Rs 100 Cr across languages. On Friday, its success event was held in Kurnool.
Speaking on the occasion, Nikhil Siddhartha said, "The stamina of Telugu cinema got to be known all over the world thanks to 'Baahubali' and Prabhas bhai. 'Pushpa' too spread our glory, thanks to Sukumar garu and Allu Arjun garu. Then followed 'RRR'. When 'Karthikeya 2' was dubbed and released in Hindi, many were skeptical. I too was scared. But we merely followed in the path of our predecessors. Today, the Hindi-dubbed version is playing on 1200 screens. It's a matter of pride."
The 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' actor seemed emotional and thankful. Director Chandoo Mondeti said, "Today, even the Hindi audience know Nikhil. He now needs no introduction on the national scale."
