Distributor Warangal Srinu is one of the most well-known names in the Telugu film industry. He is said to be Dil Raju's rival.
In his latest interview, Srinu has revealed that he has lost 65% of his investment on 'Liger'. It seems the figure in absolute terms translates to more than Rs 35 Cr.
Sounding controversial, Srinu blamed the boycott campaign on social media for his film's failure. He also suggested that there has been a conspiracy to run down the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer every day. He used the word 'sabotage'.
Surprisingly, he called 'Liger' a not-bad film. Speaking to ToI, Srinu added that only the climax is weak.
It's funny that Srinu thinks the boycott campaign is to be blamed. The campaign has zero impact in the Telugu States. It is limited to the Hindi version and North India. Right after the first show on the first day, even Puri Jagannadh's fans heavily railed against 'Liger'.
