Three films released in 2022 were business-wise wonders. No amount of adjectives can describe their monstrous success disproportional to their budgets.
Let's start with our own Telugu movie: 'Kartikeya 2'. Nikhil Siddhartha has officially revealed the flim's budget to be Rs 15 or 16 Cr. The Chandoo Mondeti directorial made Rs 125 Cr (gross). It was a big hit in Hindi as well.
Then comes 'Kantara', which was made at a cost of Rs 16 Cr. The film grossed more than Rs 400 cr.
The third one is 'The Kashmir Files'. As per director-producer Vivek Agnhitori, its budget was around Rs 15 Cr. The film grossed more than Rs 340 Cr.
The three films, one each with Telugu, Kannada and Hindi, really minted monies like crazy.
