Pooja Hegde may just have ended 2022 with a whimper. Her latest release is the Hindi-language outing 'Cirkus', starring Ranveer Singh in the lead.
As per early trade reports, the comedy entertainer has opened to lukewarm 'word of mouth'. The reviews are also discouraging. Even Taran Adarsh, who usually raves about even sub-par movies, called it outdated.
Senior Bollywood critic Faridoon Shahyar wrote, "The reviews of 'Cirkus' are out and the unanimous view is that it's a terrible film and not entertaining at all. This hasn't come as a surprise. Never take audience for granted!"
'Radhe Shyam' remains Pooja's biggest disaster of the year. It was a pan-India film that would have helped her race ahead had it become a hit. The pairing with Prabhas didn't help her. 'Acharya' and 'Beast' also flopped later.
SSMB28 is Pooja's only Telugu movie. She is not doing 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' as per the buzz in the industry.
