The Tamil-language political drama 'Maamannan' was acclaimed. Recently, her film 'Siren' (Tamil) with Jayam Ravi didn't do well at the box office. The 'Mahanati' actress is playing a lead role in 'Baby John' (Hindi), which is a remake of 'Theri' (Tamil). The film will hit the cinemas on May 31.
On OTT, we all know that it has been hard luck for Keerthy. Her direct-to-OTT releases 'Penguin' and 'Miss India' were unbearable. Their success in terms of views is unknown, though.
Finally, after years of wait, Keerthy is expected to score an acclaimed OTT hit. 'Uppu Kappu Rambu', a satirical comedy, is her next OTT release. Also starring Suhas of 'Colour Photo' and 'Writer Padmabhushan' fame, the film will stream on OTT later this year. The story of 'Uppu Kappu Rambu' is set in a fictional village that faces an extraordinary crisis as the cemetery runs out of space.
