'Geetha' is an upcoming movie fronted by Abhijith Ram and Srija. Produced by Ramu, Murali and Paramesh on Sri Manikantha Cine Creations, the film is being directed by Kiran Timmala. 'Mana Krishnagadi Prema Katha' is its tagline. Post-production works are currently on.
The motion poster of the movie was today released in Film Chamber. Speaking on the occasion, guest and producer Tummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana said, "The motion poster is really good. The lead pair are looking great. These days, content-driven movies are being made. I hope 'Geetha' too finds its place in the league. It's small films that sustain the industry."
TRS party state secretary Bhaskar Sagar said, "If the story is strong, even small films done by newcomers can become a hit."
The producers of the movie said, "This is a love story that unfolds in the backdrop of a village. Love, comedy and action are its key ingredients. The director has done a better job than he had promised. This is the first film to be coming out from our banner."
Actor Abhijit Ram said, "I have been an RJ at Radio Mirchi in the past. 'Geetha' has got a strong story. It was shot in Srikakulam, Palasa, Uddhanam, Vizag, Orissa and Hyderabad."
Director Kiran Timmala said, "I started my journey as a TV reporter. The lead pair has done a great job and they are perfect for the story. Their chemistry is going to be a highlight."
