'Golmaal 2020' is an upcoming movie starring Mittakanti Ram and Vijay Shankar as the heroes. Akshata Sonawane, Mahi Malhotra, and Kisley Choudhary are its heroines. Vijay Shankar has an interesting role in the film.
The news is that the audio of the film is out. The film will head to the theatres on February 18.
Speaking about their product, the makers said, "In the 1970s and 1980s, the likes of Shoban Babu, Krishna, Krishnam Raju, Sridevi, Jayaprada and others garnered the youngsters' attention with their acting and style. Our film is a suspenseful comedy-drama set in a retro style, reflecting the flavour of the bygone era," the makers said.
Directed by John Jakki, the film is produced on Bobby Films by KK Chaitanya. Speaking about the movie, the director said, "The story is nostalgic in nature. Ram, Vijay and other actors will be seen in a retro look. I thank the producers for the opportunity to direct this movie. The producers were fully supportive. The film is content-driven."
Actor Ram said, "The title has raised a lot of curiosity. 'Golmaal' indicates confusion in us. The title is apt for the proceedings. The story unfolds in the backdrop of a village. The get-ups in which the actors are seen will keep the audience hooked."
Aditya Music's Niranjan said, "The songs have come out really well. We chose famous singers to get them crooned."
Actor Vinod Nuvvula said, "Retro subjects are interesting. I have played Nutana Prasad. The film has shaped up really well. I hope we all are going to get a good break."
