Priyanka Jawalkar of 'Taxiwala' and 'SR Kalyanamandapam' fame has tested positive for Covid-19. She is showing mild symptoms.
In a statement, the 'Thimmarusu' actress has said that she had taken all precautions and yet tested positive. The Anantapur-bred damsel is taking medication and is hoping that Covid-19 will be behind her soon.
Last year, she was seen as a Muslim girl in 'Gamanam', a film starring Shriya Saran. Her next Telugu film is yet to be confirmed. "I have auditioned for Hindi Netflix. Nothing concrete has happened so far. I am hoping for something to be firmed up. If I get a bold role, I will accept it only if the story is good," she said in an interview before its release in December.
