The Hindi dubbed version of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' was supposed to release in theatres on January 26 to encash the popularity of Allu Arjun in the Hindi market. The news is that the film's release has been cancelled altogether.
As per an official statement, Goldmine Telefilms' Manish Shah has decided to call off the release after the makers of 'Shehzada', the Hindi remake of 'AVPL' requested him to do so. If the dubbed version releases and becomes a hit, the Hindi remake would be affected severely when it releases later this year. Therefore, the two sides arrived at a joint agreement. It's a healthy compromise.
It's said that Goldmine Telefilms has made a profit of Rs 40 Cr from the Hindi release of 'Pushpa: The Rise'. They are totally in awe of Bunny's potential.
