The Hindi remake of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' is titled 'Shehzada'. The news is that the film has commenced its shoot and is heading for a grand theatrical release more than a year from now.
On Wednesday, producers Bhushan Kumar and Krishna Kumar of T-Series, Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts, and S Radha Krishna of Haarika & Hassine Creations, announced that the family entertainer will be released in theatres on 4 November 2022.
Director Rohit Dhawan has stepped into Trivikram Srinivas' shoes. Aaryan Kartik is reprising Allu Arjun, while Kriti Sanon is reprising Pooja Hegde. Manisha Koirala, Sachin Khedkar, Paresh Rawal and others are playing other key roles.
