Director Koratala Siva is back in the news. It has been reported this week that a few distributors of 'Acharya' who incurred ridiculously drastic losses have re-started their bid to press the director to make good their ginormous losses.
As per unverified claims, the 'Srimanthudu' director had taken over the Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan project from producer Niranjan Reddy even before its theatrical release, least realizing that it would emerge as one of the biggest financial debacles of all time.
Before the release of 'Acharya', the 'Bharat Ane Nenu' director was full of over-confidence. He even said that it was easy for him to write the script of 'Acharya' because big stars are its heroes. "Where is the difficulty when it is easy to convince the audience when a superstar is your hero?" he said, talking as if writing big-hero scripts is a cakewalk for him.
The 100% success rate since his debut as a director in the year 2013 seems to have prompted Siva to believe that failure can't touch him.
