A few months ago, there were media reports that Samantha Ruth Prabhu had received Rs 250 Cr from Naga Chaitanya as alimony after her divorce from him. The 'Majili' actress has described the same as the worst rumour she has heard about her. Appearing on the latest Koffee With Karan episode (streaming on Disney+Hotstar), Sam even joked that she expects IT officials to knock on her door every morning seeking an account of the money.
"First they (the media) made up the story about alimony. Then they realized it doesn't seem like a believable story. Then they said there's a pre-nup (pre-nuptial agreement) because of which I can't ask for alimony," the 'Rangasthalam' actress said.
She added, in the context of another question, that it was not easy post divorce. “It has been hard but it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been," the 'Shaakuntalam' and 'Yashoda' actress added.
