'Yanam' marks the debut of character artist Srikanth Iyengar as a producer. It is based on the works of William Shakespeare. Produced on KSI Cinema Unlimited, the film marks the directorial debut of Karunakaran.
The news is that the film's first look poster was today released at the hands of producer Sarath Marrar.
Speaking on the occasion, Srikanth Iyengar thanked everyone who has contributed to his career. "Kalyan is playing a character named Krish and Renusri is playing Mahi in 'Yanam'. The regular shoot will be kicked off soon," he added.
Producer Sarath Marrar said, "Srikanth has previously acted quite a few times under our banner. I have known him for many years. He is a versatile actor. I am happy that he is now producing a movie. The lead pair is looking nice."
Actor Laksh Chadalavada said, "Srikanth garu has been around since my film 'Gangster Gangaraju' was begun. He is a soft person. I wish him all the best."
Director Karunakaran said that the lead pair have been picked after an audition.
