'Maa Nanna Naxalite' is the title of an upcoming socio-political action drama set in the 1990s. Starring Krishna Burugula and Rekha Nirosha as the lead pair, the film has music director, singer and actor Raghu Kunche in the role of a Maoist named Kondarudra Seetharamayya. Ajay, recently seen in 'Acharya', will be seen as a cop. Subbaraju, recently seen in 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', will be seen as a politician. LB Sriram has played a politician in the movie.
Presented by Chadalavada Brothers, the film is being directed by P Sunil Kumar Reddy. "The father-son sentiment, the emotions, the action will stand out in the movie," the makers today said.
The director said that Dragon Prakash's action choreography is crucial. Vinay Mahadev, Anil, FM Babai, SAmudram Venkatesh, and others are part of the cast. Praveen Immadi has composed the music.
