'Sebastian P.C. 524' will hit the cinemas on March 4. Its pre-release event was held on Tuesday. The event saw the core team of the comedy thriller, mainly actor Kiran Abbavaram, giving heart-felt speeches.
Cherry, the CEO of Mythri Movie Makers, praised the trailer of the movie and also lauded Kiran for selecting a seemingly intelligent script. He described the 'SR Kalyanamandapam' actor as a multi-talented person.
Producer Y Ravi Shankar of 'Pushpa' fame said that films made in the backdrop of Chittoor and Madanapalle have always worked. He suggested that the 'Pushpa' sentiment should rub off on 'Sebastian'.
Senior actor Sai Kumar, who played Kiran's father in their previous film together, hoped that Kiran will make him proud. Director Venky Kudumula of 'Bheeshma' fame said that Kiran will have an awesome future as an actor.
'Goodachari' and 'Kshanam' actor Adivi Sesh said that he has been following Kiran's journey since his short film days. "Last year, I listened to a script that has the backdrop of night blindness. Just as I started wondering why nobody has done such a character previously, I came to know that Kiran was doing 'Sebastian P.C. 524'. That's why I like Kiran. He tries what nobody has done before," Sesh said.
'Romantic' actor Akash Puri suggested that Kiran will make a name for himself like Sivakarthikeyan has in Kollywood. Both actors don't have a filmi background.
It was then the turn of the producers of the film to speak. Producer Sidda Reddy fondly remembered Kiran's late brother, Ramanjulu Reddy, who recently passed away in a road accident. He also described Kiran as a hardworking actor.
On his part, producer Pramod Raju was all praise for director Balaji S. "He came to us with the concept of a hero suffering from night blindness. Kudos to Kiran for picking a challenging role," he added.
Director Balaji Sayyapureddy said, "The film is going to be better than the trailer. The output is better than what I had visualized. We shot the film in Madanapalle for 36 days. Komalee and Nuveksha have done well."
Actor Kiran Abbavaram got emotional about his brother and almost broke down. He said, "My brother made many sacrifices for me. He supported me in every way to ensure that I become an actor. He wanted to see me at the top. Whatever love he gave me, I will give it back to him by working harder and harder. I feel extremely pained that he is no more."
Kiran also said that he has a few films lined up with the likes of GA2 Pictures and Mythri Movie Makers.
Komalee Prasad, who has played a key character in the movie, said that her role will be impactful. Nuveksha, the heroine, urged the audience to watch the film in theatres.
