Mining baron and former BJP Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy's son Kireeti is debuting in a stylistic and action-heavy Telugu-Kannada bilingual, which was launched today. SS Rajamouli and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar graced the occasion as chief guests.
Actress Sreeleela, who is a good friend of Kireeti, is its female lead. Yesteryear actress Genelia is making a comeback with the entertainer. Also featuring Dr Ravichandra V, the film's music is by Devi Sri Prasad. KK Senthil Kumar of 'Baahubali' and 'RRR' fame is cranking the camera. Peter Hein is composing the fights, while Raveender is its production designer.
Speaking today, Rajamouli said that Kireeti is looking well prepared in the introduction teaser. In the teaser, we see Kireeti skating on a crowded road and doing a risky stunt to save a baby from being mowed down by a car. We see him doing a high jump to give a rose to a beautiful girl. Kireeti is well-trained in dances as well.
Sai Korrapati's Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram is producing the movie. Directed by Radha Krishna, the film will be made on a rich scale. Genelia is thrilled to do the comeback film, while Sreeleela said that the story of the film is beautiful. She is getting to do a solid project.
Speaking on the occasion, Kireeti said that Shiva Rajkumar is the inspiration for him to enter films. "I am very excited and emotional about having Genelia back with our movie. It's an honour to share the screen with Ravichandran Sir. Sreeleela is a very close friend of mine. I am also really kicked to work with Peter Hein. There is a kick-ass action sequence in the movie," he said.
