The film, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, will hit the cinemas on March 25. But do audiences in the Telugu States stand a chance to catch it early, on the night of March 24? Recently, Rajamouli said that the ball is in the court of distributors as far as paid premiers are concerned.
Clarity is emerging slowly. There won't be paid premiers in India. So, hard luck there for RRR's fans.
On the brighter side, benefit shows will be massive in Hyderabad. As per a report, the earliest benefit shows will be half a dozen in number. And they will start as early as 12:30 am on the release date. This is the earliest in the history of Telugu cinema if it happens. The likes of 'Akhanda', 'Pushpa', 'Bheemla Nayak' and 'Radhe Shyam' didn't start before 3:30 am.
