'Mission Cinderella', which is a remake of the Tamil film 'Ratsasan' (remade as 'Rakshasudu' in Telugu), is skipping a theatrical release. The film will be premiered directly on Disney+ Hotstar.
The release date is April 29. As per the buzz in the media, the makers of the slasher film have earned Rs 135 Cr by way of satellite and digital rights deals. Since Akshay's 'Bachchhan Panday', which was released in theatres on March 18, became a flop, 'Mission Cinderella' is believed to have made a good deal by earning Rs 135 Cr.
Starring Rakul Preet Singh as the heroine, 'Mission Cinderella' was made as a quick film. It is directed by Ranjit M Tewari.
