'Dhagad Saamba' is headlined by Sampoornesh Babu, the Burning Star of Telugu cinemas. Directed by NR Reddy, the entertainer is produced by Praveena Creations.
On Monday, the film's trailer was unveiled at the hands of 'Dialogue King' Sai Kumar. Speaking on the occasion, Sai Kumar said that Sampoo's films offer comic relief to the stressed-out audience members. "People work hard throughout the day. When they watch a movie, they want to be entertained. I am glad that Sampoo is doing comedy films. Recently, when I was casually chatting with him, I asked him to do a cop story titled 'Jamadagni S/O Agni'," Sai Kumar added.
The makers said that the film has received U/A certificate from the CBFC. "The Censor Board members appreciated the output," they said, adding that 'Dhagad Saamba' will hit the cinemas on May 20.
Director NR Reddy has also written the film's story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics. With music by David G, the film's cinematography is by Mujeer Malik. Produced by RR, the film is edited by KAY Papa Rao.
Starring Sonakshi, Jyothi, Chalaki Chanti, Mirchi Madhavi, Ananda Bharathi, PD Raju and others, the film has four action sequences choreographed by different stunt masters.
