Disney+ Hotstar is ready with a Telugu-language web series. Titled '9 Hours', the same has been created by Krish Jagarlamudi, who is its show-runner.
Starring Taraka Ratna (who has played a wide variety of roles in Telugu since his debut in the early 2000s), Ajay (seen recently in a prominent role in 'Acharya'), Vinod Kumar, Madhu Shalini, Ravi Varma, Preethi Asrani, Ankith Koyya of 'Johar' fame, Jwala Koti, and Monica Reddy (seen recently as Pawan Kalyan's subordinate constable in 'Bheemla Nayak'), the web series is a period drama.
Talking about the series' premise, the makers said that its story revolves around three prisoners who break out of jail and embark on an adventurous journey. They scheme a robbery of large proportions.
They run out of time as they need to be back in jail before the next roll call is called.
Niranjan Kaushik and Jacob Verghese have helmed the series. First Frame Entertainments is producing the series.
