The other day, actor-director Arjun Sarja openly said that Vishwak Sen was no longer the hero of his directorial. He accused the actor of not cooperating with him and repeatedly cancelling shooting schedules.
On Sunday night, at a film event, the 'Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam' actor defended himself and said that he was not wrong. He suggested that it was Arjun's closed-mindedness that made him want to postpone the shoot.
Here is what Vishwak Sen said:
I have always worked in an environment where ideas have been exchanged between me and my director. I accepted Arjun garu's film (five months ago) out of sheer respect for him. I ventured into it with a positive mindset.
I received the final draft of the film's first half just a week before the film was supposed to go on the floors. Arjun garu claimed that he listens to suggestions even from an office boy. In reality, he was not ready to listen to my inputs. He asked me to leave everything to him.
Despite my reservations, I wanted to go ahead and participate in the shoot. I wanted to nail it. But, on the day of the shoot, I was pulled back by doubts. Something in me said that I shouldn't go ahead without getting some things out of my way. I texted my director to postpone the schedule by a day. It was just a day.
I wish Arjun garu all the best. I hope the project does well.
