'Yashoda' is perhaps the only songless movie done by 'Melody Brahma' Mani Sharma. When producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad told him the thriller won't have songs, Mani asked him if he was kidding. "What will I get to do in a movie with no songs?" he asked. The producer told him to nail it with his background score instead.
But they did compose a song for Samantha Ruth Prabhu and other pregnant characters in the movie. 'Baby Shower' is its title. The song, written by Ramajogayya Sastry and sung by Sahithi Chaganti, was released today.
The song was deleted from the movie. At almost five minutes, it has been put out on YouTube.
'Yashoda', directed by Hari and Harish, is currently playing in theatres.
