'Jai Balayya' from 'Veera Simha Reddy' has been described by director Gopichand Malineni as a 'Mass Anthem'. The lyrics (by Ramajogayya Sastry), the conception and the picturization make one believe that it is actually a 'Mass Worship' song.
Rendered by Karrimullah, the Thaman composition has got its folk rhythm by Vaniyambadi Illam Puyal. By using the Nadaswaram, the trumpet and the guitar, the 'mass hungama' reaches a crescendo.
Shot on Nandamuri Balakrishna and others, the song is the first one to come out from the movie.
Also starring Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Honey Rose and Duniya Vijay, the film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili. Mythri Movie Makers is planning to release it for Sankranthi 2023.
