Bollywood actress Richa Chadha on Thursday hogged headlines for mocking the Indian Army in an insensitive manner. In a Twitter post, she suggested that the Indian Army was humbled in Galwan in 2020. The tone of her tweet was derogatory. Since then, one major Bollywood actor has called her out: it is Akshay Kumar.
In Tollywood, two actors have called her out: Nikhil Siddhartha and Vishnu Manchu. In a sharp tweet today, the 'Kartikeya 2' actor said that twenty brave Indian soldiers gave up their lives at Galwan protecting India. "Reading about their Ultimate Sacrifice still brings tears to our eyes. FORGET POLITICS. Our Army and the Armed forces should always be respected and never insulted," wrote the '18 Pages' star.
'Ginna' actor and MAA President Vishnu Manchu asked what is wrong with the actress. "How can you even imagine such a horrid line? Everyone in the armed forces should be worshipped if not anything else for their service to our great country. Just hurts to see such ungrateful Indians," he tweeted.
