'Nagali' stars actor-director Bharat Parepalli as a farmer. Also directed and written by him, the film co-stars Satya Prasad Rongala, Mohan Rao Valluri, Kaveri, Madhu Bhai, Vasu Varma, Nani and others.
With dialogues and songs written by Peddada Murthy, the film has cinematography by Vasu Varma Kathari. Produced by Bharat Parepalli and Sudeep Mokkarala, 'Nagali' recently completed its shoot in Rajahmundry.
"The plan is to complete post-production by January and release the film in February. Sudeep Mokkarala and Anusmati Sarkar are headlining the project," the makers said.
The film tells the story of a peasant protest that reminds one of the 1857 War of Independence, the makers said.
