'Double iSmart' has been an overdue project. It was conceived vaguely in 2019. Due to 'Liger' seeing endless delays, Puri Jagannadh couldn't revive the idea.
The 'Pokiri' director is finally ready with 'Double iSmart', whose announcement on Sunday marked the eve of Ram Pothineni's birthday. The film is a supposed thematic sequel to 'iSmart Shankar'.
Touted to be a high-octane action entertainer, the film will hit the cinemas on March 8 next year in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The pan-India release is produced by Puri Connects.
Puri and Charmme Kaur were planning to collaborate with Chiranjeevi on a project. Guess the dream project will fructify if 'Double iSmart' clicks at the box office.
Ram awaits the release of his movie with Boyapati Sreenu on October 20. Its teaser will be out on May 15.
