Lakshmi Manchu turned a year older the other day. The actress, producer and TV show host made it a point to celebrate the special occasion with fifty school-going kids.
As the Chairperson of the Teach For Change Trust, Lakshmi opined that education is the most important aspect of a child's all-round development.
The kids were drawn from government schools in different areas of Hyderabad, mainly from Malakpet, Banjara Hills and Amberpet. They danced and sang and participated in the celebrations with enthusiasm.
On the work front, Lakshmi will soon be seen in the Telugu movie, the Mohan Babu-starrer 'Agni Nakshatram'. 'Monster', her upcoming Malayalam release, stars Mohanlal in the lead. The film is directed by Vysakh and will head to theatres on October 21.
