Megastar Chiranjeevi on Wednesday evening had a chit-chat with Puri Jagannadh, who has been reeling under the disastrous performance of Liger. Puri recently appeared in the role of a whistleblower in 'GodFather'.
In his interaction with Puri, Chiru happened to make a reference to 'Auto Jani', a script that the filmmaker pitched to the Megastar many years ago. Puri was also on the verge of bagging Chiranjeevi's 150th movie in 2015 or so. But it didn't work out.
Puri, on Wednesday, told Chiru that 'Auto Jani' is now outdated and therefore he will prepare a new script for him. The 'Acharya' actor asked Puri to go ahead.
It is a good sign that Puri feels a script he wrote many years ago has become stale. Had he had a similar realization over 'Liger', Vijay Deverakonda would have been spared a disaster. Phew!
