Prithviraj Sukumaran, the Mollywood star, has a substantial role in Prabhas' 'Salaar'. On Sunday, on the occasion of his birthday, his first look was released by Hombale Films.
We see him sporting a beard and wearing an angry expression as Vardharaja Mannaar, which is the name of his character in the pan-India film.
"Parallel or mainstream, Arthouse or commercial, he has always made sure to strike a balance n delivered stupendously with an entertaining n engaging act," the makers tweeted, describing the Malayalam actor as the most versatile.
Starring Shruti Haasan as the heroine and Jagapathi Babu in a key role, the Prashanth Neel directorial heads to theatres on September 28 next year.
