Year 2021 was a turning point in Santosh Shoban's career. The OTT hit 'Ek Mini Katha' was a turnaround for him. The actor, who has worked with a star director like Maruthi with 'Manchi Rojulochaiae', without exaggeration, is one of the most dependable actors for playing comedic lead roles. He is also going to be seen in quite a few OTT projects (to be made official soon) besides feature films.
In 'Like Share & Subscribe', which is slated to be released in theatres on November 4, Santosh is a travel vlogger who gets into trouble. Already, the film's trailer has sparked an interest in his performance. Merlapaka Gandhi, one of the most talented directors out there, has wielded the megaphone. So, less than two years since he delivered his first hit (in the form of 'Ek Mini Katha'), Santosh has got to team up with the second notable filmmaker.
Later this year, he will follow up the probable success of 'LSS' with 'Anni Manchi Sakunamule', which is not only directed by a sensible filmmaker (read Nandini Reddy) but is also backed by Priyanka Dutt of Swapna Cinema and Vyjayanthi Movies. It's a family entertainer.
The actor is also gung-ho about two films with UV Creations, one of the biggest players in the industry both on the production and distribution front.
