As reported earlier, Rishab Shetty was in Andhra Pradesh to participate in the success tour of 'Kantara' in Tirupathi and Vizag. On Saturday, after watching his movie in two theatres with the audience, the Kannada actor-director-writer said that he can't believe that the Hombale Films production has garnered Rs 45 Cr (gross) in the Telugu States.
Rishab thanked the Telugu audience for the humongous reception. In his speech, he spoke of the film's highlights. He also thanked Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts for presenting the Telugu version.
Allu Aravind recalled that it was Bunny Vas who had advised him to watch the film on September 30. The Telugu version was released in theatres on October 15. He said that 'Kantara' would gross Rs 50 Cr soon in Telugu.
