'Thugs' is an upcoming action drama produced by Riya Shibu, the daughter of producer Shibu Thameens, who has to his credit films like 'ABCD', 'Puli', 'Irumugan', and 'Saamy Square'.
The news is that HR Pictures has tied up with music label Sony Music, on which the music of the film will be released across languages. HR Pictures, on its part, has also distributed movies like 'RRR' and 'Vikram' in a few territories.
"We are planning to release 'Thugs' in theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada in December this year," the makers today said.
Starring debutant Hridhu Haroon in the lead (he has acted in the OTT show 'Crash Course' of late), Bobby Simha (recently seen in 'Ammu'), RK Suresh, and Munishkanth in lead roles, the film also features Anaswara Rajan. Directed by choreographer Brinda, the film has music by Sam CS.
Written by Shibu Thameens, its cinematography is by Priyesh Guruswamy.
