This week, 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali' and 'Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavadini' are in box-office race, besides 'Saakini Daakini'. They are going to hit the cinemas on September 16. If the last of the three films is fronted by two female actors, the first two films are headlined by male actors.
'AAGMC' stars Sudheer Babu in the lead. His previous collaboration with Mohankrishna Indraganti was his last box office hit. That was 'Sammohanam' in 2018. Since then, the actor hasn't had it good at the box office. 'Nannu Dochukunduvate', 'Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu' and 'Sridevi Soda Center' flopped at the BO, while 'V' on Amazon Prime Video received negative reviews. Sudheer Babu, after a series of bad movies, needs to deliver this week.
As for 'Nenu Meeku...', the film stars Kiran Abbavaram in the lead. After two flops this year ('Sebastian PC 524' and 'Sammathame'), the actor badly needs a hit.
