Speaking on the occasion, Vijayendra Prasad lauded Goud's initiative and said that it is a pleasure to give the Nandi Awards again with the help of the Government. "I think it would be better if Nandi Awards are especially given to films that reflect the culture of Telangana. The State has got amazing touring spots. If 90 percent of the films are shot here and if cash incentives are extended to films that prioritize Telangana, it will create an encouraging environment," he added.
