Kollywood director Vetrimaaran, who has won has won five National Film Awards in his career, was in Hyderabad on Tuesday to promote his April 15th release 'Vidudhala' ('Viduthalai' in Tamil). He was asked about his rumoured collaboration with Jr NTR.
Vetrimaaran and Tarak are going to collaborate but no specific timeline has been finalized. The filmmaker stated that he did have a meeting with the 'RRR' actor after the release of his Tamil movie 'Asuran'.
Vetri didn't speak anything about the nature of the project that he has in mind for the Nandamuri star. "If you asked me what I will be doing tomorrow, I won't be able to tell you," he added. Vetri assured that he won't collaborate with Jr NTR for the sake of star value. "I will do it only if content demands a star like him," Vetri said.
Jr NTR is slated to do Ayan Mukerji-directed 'War 2' and also a film with 'KGF' fame Prashanth Neel after the Koratala Siva directorial.
In the past, Vetri planned movies with Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun but they didn't materialize.
