On Saturday, Anasuya Bharadwaj posted a video in which she can be seen breaking down. Visibly distressed, the 'Rangasthalam' and 'Pushpa' actress revealed her vulnerable side.
The accompanying text said that she has been bothered by the toxicity prevalent on social media. She opined that social media is meant to propagate informative content and share one's experiences in the realm of culture and lifestyle.
On the contrary, social media has become something else, Anasuya indicated. "As a public future, I am forced to think to be this person with neutral feelings, diplomacy, a 'don't care attitude' and be strong. But that version of strength is not my strength. My strength is this (referring to the video). Right there. To be able to share my vulnerability and still put my foot down to things I believe should be put down to. Have a good cry and get up and face the world with a smile a day or two later," she added.
Anasuya, hours later, put out another video clip in which she was cheerful. She said that, after crying out, she had a facial because she had to get back to work.
