'O Kala' is the title of an upcoming film to be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar from April 13. Starring Gourish Yeleti (in the role of an aspiring actor), Roshni Sahota, and Prachi Thacker in lead roles, the rom-com is directed by Deepak Kolipaka.
Eternity Entertainment and Aham Asmi Films are happy ahead of the release. The director prefers to call 'O Kala' a socio love drama. "The scenes are realistic and everyone is going to remember the movie for a long time. I have directed some short films in the past and 'O Kala' is my maiden venture as a director. I am a trained director," Deepak said.
Filmi Chamber President Damodar Prasad said that producer Mahesh is a good friend. He advised producers not to hope to make loads of money from both theatrical and post-theatrical OTT releases.
This is a film that everyone, including children, will enjoy, said Gourish.
Heroine Roshini said that the film is a great ride. "You will enjoy watching this film as much as I enjoyed shooting for it," she added.
Ali, Viva Raghav, Devi Prasad, Shakti, comedian Ravi Teja and others are part of the cast. Composed by Neelesh Mandalapu, the film has cinematography done by Akhil Valluri. Satya Giduturi is its Editor.
