'Rudrangi' is the title of an upcoming action drama starring Jagapathi Babu as a savage 'Dora' whose self-image is that of a wild animal. He is the evil 'wild saala' who believes that freedom is not meant for whom he calls slaves. Set in post-Indepence Telangana, the film is going to hit the cinemas on May 26.
Its teaser shows Ashish Gandhi as a rebel named Mallesh. While Jagapathi dominates the video, Mamta Mohandas's dialogue-oriented and elegant character feels like a spin-off of some timeless female characters. She is a fierce noblewoman named Jwalabhai.
Written and directed by Ajay Samrat (who has previously worked in the scripting department of 'Baahubali' and 'RRR'), the film is produced by Rasamayi Balakishan. Ganavi Laxman, Vimala Raman, Kalakeya Prabhakar, and Sadanandham have different parts.
